Summary

In November 2007, the OECD Working Party on Manufactured Nanomaterials decided to start work on Co-operation on Exposure Measurement and Exposure Mitigation. A steering group lead by the US, and comprising delegates from the WPMN, was tasked with developing this work.

This document intends to provide information on the outcomes and discussions of the WPMN related to the safety of manufactured nanomaterials. It is the report of the OECD Workshop on Exposure Assessment and Exposure Mitigation, which was held on 20 October 2008, in Frankfurt, Germany. This report includes a summary of the plenary presentations as well as the presentations that were given.
